Overnight Stay at Marrakesh
After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca to join the group for a sightseeing tour. Explore Mohamed V Square, the United Nations Place, the Central Market, the Habbous Quarter, and the exterior of the grand Hassan II Mosque. Drive through the upscale residential district of Anfa before strolling along the Aïn Diab coastline, lined with swimming pools and restaurants. Independent lunch. Later, proceed to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. Visit highlights such as the Hassan Tower, Mohamed V Mausoleum, the Kasbah of Oudayas, and the Medina. Late afternoon hotel check-in. After breakfast, depart for Fez with a stop to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss I. Continue onward to Meknes, known as the “Moroccan Versailles,” founded by Sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. Sightseeing includes Bab Mansour, the old medina, and key historical landmarks. The entire day is dedicated to exploring Fez – Morocco’s oldest cultural and spiritual center. Highlights include the medieval medina, ancient Medersas, the Karaouine Mosque, and the Nejjarine Fountain. After breakfast, depart for Marrakesh through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Pass through Immouzer du Kander, Azrou, and Ifrane – a charming alpine town surrounded by majestic cedar forests. Pause at Beni-Mellal for a short break. Independent lunch on the way. As you approach Marrakesh, enjoy the view of its red-earth landscape set against blue skies and green palm groves.
